Global On Demand Packaging® provider automates and significantly improves supply chain processes, saving time and costs

Holland, MI – September 20, 2017 BluJay Solutions, a leading provider of supply chain software and services powered by the world’s first Global Trade Network, announces the implementation of its Transportation Management platform at several Packsizeâ International facilities. By implementing On Demand Packaging® machinery and software systems, Packsize customers derive 11 distinct benefits that drive down costs and improve the financial and labor performance of their packaging operations.

Packsize International migrated from a manual, paper-based process involving data entry for three systems, to BluJay’s Transportation Management, which automates and provides visibility into freight moves.

“With BluJay’s Transportation Management solution, Packsize automated several manual processes to improve internal efficiencies giving our team members more time to focus on core business functions,” said Ryan Allen, Director of Supply Chain for Packsize International. “We also made substantial improvements to our order-to-cash process, and significantly improved warehousing and accounting processes in addition to transportation.”

Packsize leverages the BluJay Transportation Management platform to achieve accurate payable rate information within one system; automate load tendering; improve carrier communication; and verify load status, among other rate management improvements. Packsize will also benefit from being a member of BluJay’s Global Trade Network, with connectivity to more than 40,000 supply chain partners.
